“Wonderful hosts, wonderful stay”

Thank you so much for our lovely warm welcome to Lowfield! The cottage is absolutely wonderful, with lovely views. The local area is very friendly and so central to exploring the Lake District. Wonderful hosts, wonderful stay – thank you!

“The locals were very welcoming”

We had a lovely warm welcome from Annette, she gave us lots of ideas of where to explore! The cosy cottage was lovely and perfect for the two of us. We didn’t explore much I have to admit – Broughton was just too lovely to go much further afield. The locals were very welcoming also. We enjoyed the Beer Festival at the Manor Arms and the sticky toffee pudding is a must at the Black Cock Inn!  Will be staying again soon.

A wonderful stay in an idyllic part of the country. Loved exploring the town and venturing out to places such as Kendal, Muncaster Castle and Bowness-on-Windermere. Even attempted the very hilly walk to the peak of the Old Man of Coniston. Thank you for having us!
